A huge sigh of relief was heard across the UK AV industry,
as enthusiastic punters turned by the thousand at the 2009
Bristol Sound & Vision Show run by the Audio-T group

The 2009 Bristol Show
- 500 people queuing on opening day
- People queuing at opening EVERY day

Sales brand leader was Pioneer. Strong sales from JVC and Arcam
Increasingly an international Show
Quite a few overseas distributors attended, plus lots of principals
and management from overseas exhibitors. Every year the Show
attracts international visitors and exhibitors.
As KEF said, "there are now only two worthwhile
shows in Europe, Munich High-end and Bristol"
Visitors came from (in order of numbers)
Netherlands, Switzerland, France, Norway, Poland and more
Including Ghana, Hong Kong, Iran, South Africa & Canada
The Key Comment, made over and over again by exhibitors was.
that the visitors were of very high quality with not too many 'tyre
kickers' and they were ready to spend!
Smooth Operators
For exhibitors, Bristol has always been the best organised Show
and 2009 was no exception. Easy in and easy out....

NEW MANCHESTER SHOW 2009
In October 2009, the complete S&V team that have made
the Bristol show so successful over 22 years, will move to
Manchester, to give the annual Practical Hi-fi show a major
facelift under the banner of the new Audio-T group.
Substantial bookings have already been taken and almost
all the large suites have already been sold.
The Renaissance has huge 25sqm bedrooms which make
fantastic demo rooms and we plan to increase the number
of these available by 100% for 2009.
